Project: Watchdog
"Because they won't defend and restore Liberty without serious prodding"
Project Watchdog is the first effort of its kind: a network of grassroots volunteers will keep tabs on all bills coming out of Lansing, and alert the grassroots whenever any dangerous piece of legislation approaches a vote.
The goal is to ensure that our representatives do not cast any votes to reduce our liberties, and instead serve us by restoring the liberties taken away from us over the years.
"How do I get involved?"
It's simple! You simply sign up for the project and you will be contacted by a project facilitator who will put you into an email group with others watching your legislative committee.
Using this website, you can track legislation, and report when it receives a recorded vote. This will build out a database of legislative dossiers on all of the members of Michigan's legislature. Campaign For Liberty will run defensive projects to stop dangerous legislation, and other organizations are invited to use the information to alert their members to important votes.
To get started, simply create a user account on MIC4L.com. There is a link in the footer of each page, and in the top-right corner of our home page. Also, you may click this link to download a helpful tutorial document on signing up for Project Watchdog.
Once you've created an account, there is an option upon login to register to watch a legislative committee. Simply choose the committee you would like to watch.
You will be contacted by a project facilitator to get set up with your email group.
There is no contract and you may leave the project at any time (though we hope you will help us make this project a success!)
